OVERVIEW:

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, govern, and manage the annual enterprise-wide talent review process, including system readiness, communications, process templates, and collaboration with HRBPs to execute successful calibrations; developing executive and board-ready materials.

  • Lead strategy and implementation of year-round succession planning across all business units, partnering with HRBPs to identify key roles, successors, and development needs.

  • Drive the philosophy and application of assignmentology by partnering with the business to identify and map core developmental assignments that build critical experiences.

  • Build, evolve, and activate leadership and functional competency frameworks, ensuring integration across performance, development, and hiring.

  • Create and implement success profiles that define excellence for critical roles; enable their use in career growth, succession, and selection efforts.

  • Analyze internal talent movement, including promotions, lateral moves, and new hires to inform talent strategies (buy vs build) and strengthen internal mobility.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of talent strategies with business needs and workforce planning insights.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or similar

  • 7-10 years experience, including minimum 7 years of progressive experience in talent management, organizational effectiveness, or a related discipline

  • Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

  • HRIS Platforms (e.g., Workday)

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, or similar) 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to design and implement enterprise frameworks that support long-term growth and leadership pipeline health

  • High influence, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving skills; adept at navigating complex matrixed, fast paced environments and driving alignment

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from talent data and translate into compelling strategies and recommendations

  • Deep understanding of modern talent philosophies (e.g., experiences over roles, skills-based succession, assignmentology, talent marketplaces)

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior executives and developing board-level deliverables

  • Strong OD, facilitation, and assessment delivery (not required) capability; supporting and mentoring others in these domains when needed.
