The Senior Manager, Sales Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our sales operations function, leading and coordinating critical sales operations activities, including sales reporting & analytics, incentive compensation, sales force sizing/targeting/deployment and sales forecasting. They ensure successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch. This role involves collaborating with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Market Access, Finance and HR to ensure efficient and compliant sales processes.
This is a full-time position with salary, benefits, and equity. This position will work remotely and require up to 10% travel. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Commercial Operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead overall Sales Operations strategy, planning, direction and development of integrated processes
- Analyze and optimize end-to-end sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build and provide timely, accurate analysis/reports of sales data to assist in market understanding, sales targeting, sales growth, performance trends and aid business decision making
- Develop sales force structure and optimal territory alignments to increase operational efficiency and sales potential
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts and plans.
- Oversee the design and administration of sales compensation plans
- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of sales operations with overall business objectives.
Skills Needed:
- Proven experience as a successful Sales Operations leader or in a similar leadership role.
- Experience in sales target setting, forecasting, territory planning & alignments, and compensation management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize sales processes and implement sales technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- High ethics and integrity.
- Ability to work efficiently in a remote role
Educational Requirements & Work Experience:
- Requires BS/BA degree. MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in sales operations or revenue operations, preferably in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $150,000-$200,000. #LI-Remote
