Senior Manager Sales Development - US
About This Role
The Sales Development Team Lead is responsible for driving the results of an SDR team through recruiting, training, organizing, coordinating, measuring, coaching, and problem-solving. This role requires a self-starting, proactive, results-oriented individual ready to begin their career as a sales leadership professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and coaching Sales Development Representatives to deliver initial meetings (0%) and and sales accepted opportunities (10%) for the sales team
Participate in recruiting by identifying potential candidates, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations to the SDR Manager
Master skills in prospecting, emailing, cold calling, and follow-up routinely with the SDRs - Monitor outbound prospecting calls, create formalized feedback, and provide SDRs to improve performance
Day-to-Day management to resolve routine problems and act as SDRs' first point of escalation. - As necessary, elevate issues or questions to the SDR Manager to ensure SDRs are executing the job
Monitor KPIs daily and hold SDRs accountable to metrics. Identify patterns that need to be addressed and communicate concerns to the Manager
Make recommendations to SDR Manager regarding plans for improvement (PIPs)
Create reports, analyze performance data, and make recommendations to management to help guide the team's strategic direction
Solid understanding of Outreach sequencing strategy and prospecting tools
Strong sense of urgency and organization
Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed
Sales Experience: 7-12 years of sales related experience
Leadership/Management Experience: 3–5+ years in sales leadership roles
Demonstrate ability to mentor/ coach fellow team members, and problem solving
Demonstrate strong knowledge in SDR process & best practices and familiar with at least one of the sales tools
Successfully initiated and executed an SDR lead campaign with internal and/or external stakeholders, with metrics
Demonstrate understanding of landing Enterprise (strategic) accounts, and Commercial
