Unleash AI Innovators, Securely

Software is being rewritten in real time. AI agents are starting to write more code than humans do, at a speed no security team has ever had to match, and that single shift is opening up the biggest opportunity our industry has seen in a decade. We're not bracing for it, we're building the company that owns it.

Snyk is building the next generation security platform where security isn't a set of tools people operate. It's a team of security agents working alongside your engineers, finding, fixing, and governing risk at the speed software is now built. These agents work alongside both the company build and the agents they adopt. Security stops being a queue of work waiting for people, and becomes a coordinated workforce companies direct and trust.

  • Champion the use of AI across the revenue function, building and deploying tools such as Claude Skills and Sigma to automate processes.

  • Advise Deal Desk, Sales, Legal, and Strategy Ops on the accounting impact of proposed deal structures and non-standard terms, driving issues through to resolution.

  • Review complex customer contracts, amendments, and modifications to determine the appropriate revenue treatment, confirming they are recorded correctly..

  • Prepare and review revenue journal entries and reconciliations of deferred revenue, contract assets, and unbilled accounts receivable, including roll-forward schedules.

  • Lead monthly and quarterly revenue flux and variance analysis, explaining key drivers to Accounting and FP&A leadership.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors on revenue matters, managing PBC requests and audit support schedules.

  • Maintain the SSP analysis and own performance obligation allocations and revenue recognition rules, updating them as pricing and packaging evolve.

  • Document and maintain revenue accounting policies, procedures, and process narratives.

  • Hire, train, and develop revenue accountants, reviewing their work and supporting their growth.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive revenue accounting or public accounting experience, including time in a SaaS or software company.

  • Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 and internal controls, with experience researching and concluding on complex contracts.

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (ARM preferred) and Salesforce.
