ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance Analytics & Channel Reporting

  • Develop and execute rigorous measurement frameworks for all marketing channels (digital, paid media, social, email, etc.), ensuring performance is always tied to business outcomes.

  • Deliver real-time, transparent reporting and dashboards that provide clear visibility into campaign effectiveness, channel attribution, and incremental impact, enabling fast, informed decision-making.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend optimizations, holding teams accountable for results and continuous improvement.

  • Focus reporting on true incrementality and ROI.

  • Ensure reporting frameworks are standardized and scalable, enabling comparability and consistency.

  • Provide marketing retailer sales and traffic reporting using PowerBI.

Incrementality & Attribution Reporting

  • Maintain advanced attribution models to accurately measure the contribution of each marketing channel, breaking down silos and revealing the true impact of every touchpoint.

  • Evaluate and communicate the incremental impact of marketing investments using statistical methods and experimentation (e.g., A/B testing, geo-lift studies).

  • Partner with analytics, finance, and media teams to refine attribution methodologies and ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Proactively assess emerging attribution methodologies (MMM, incrementality testing platforms, AI-driven models) and recommend adoption when appropriate.

Optimization & Strategic Guidance

  • Translate performance data into strategic recommendations for budget allocation, channel mix, and campaign design, ensuring resources are invested where they drive the greatest impact.

  • Lead post-campaign analysis, synthesizing learnings to inform future strategy and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Develop and scale testing frameworks to validate hypotheses and optimize marketing investments.

  • Provide clear “stop/start/continue” recommendations to leadership to ensure insights lead to decisive action.

Real-Time Analysis & Stakeholder Communication

  • Monitor campaign performance in real time, proactively surfacing insights and opportunities to stakeholders and enabling the organization to pivot quickly.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, marketing, and cross-functional teams in a clear, compelling manner, challenging assumptions and advocating for change when needed.

  • Foster a data-driven culture by educating teams on best practices for measurement, attribution, and reporting.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Streamline reporting workflows, automate data collection, and enhance operational efficiency to ensure insights are delivered quickly and accurately.

  • Mentor internal contributors and collaborate with agency/vendor partners to elevate analytics capabilities and drive stronger cross-functional alignment.

  • Support the Sr. Director, Customer Journey & Experience in strategic planning and performance reviews.

  • Establish feedback loops with media, creative, and field marketing to ensure insights translate into real time campaign changes, not just reporting.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Statistics or related field.

  • 5–7 years of experience in marketing analytics, performance marketing, or campaign reporting.

  • Must know SQL.

  • Demonstrated success in channel performance measurement, attribution modeling, and real-time analysis.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with multi-location or franchise marketing models.

  • Background in media buying, marketing reporting, digital marketing, or agency-side analytics.

Hiring Range Disclaimer 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Tanger's total compensation package for employees. 

Hiring Range: $78,000 - $105,000 per year
