Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Lawfare to spearhead high-stakes blockchain investigations, direct complex litigation support, and partner closely with legal counsel. This role demands a rare hybrid skill set: deep technical mastery in on-chain tracing and dark web intelligence, a proven track record of testifying or serving as an expert witness, and the project management rigor to lead cross-functional dispute strategies end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Blockchain & Cyber Forensic Investigations: Oversee deep-dive on-chain tracing, asset tracking, and crypto forensic analysis. Integrate dark web intelligence, cyber data, and off-chain data points to support complex disputes and litigation.
- Legal Drafting & Expert Testimony: Draft clear, comprehensive investigative reports, witness declarations, and legal exhibits tailored for court proceedings and legal teams. Serve as an expert witness or key testimonial support on targeted legal matters.
- Project & Case Management: Manage end-to-end investigative workflows for ongoing disputes, ensuring tight coordination among internal teams, outside counsel, law enforcement, and external partners.
- Lawfare & Litigation Strategy: Translate complex technical, cryptographic, and cyber findings into actionable legal intelligence, tactical lawfare strategy, and plain-language summaries for court submission.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Experience: Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in crypto investigations, law enforcement, dispute/forensic consulting, specialized intelligence, or crypto-focused organizations.
- Direct Testifying Experience: Proven track record of giving testimony, submitting official sworn declarations, or serving as an expert witness in legal or regulatory proceedings.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with major blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs) along with dark web intelligence and cyber investigation methodologies.
- Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead multi-track legal, investigative, or consulting projects under tight deadlines.
- Legal Writing Mastery: Exceptional skill in translating dense technical data into clear, court-ready reports, affidavits, and declarations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal litigation support, legal operations, or dispute resolution background.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certifications.
- Formal crypto/forensic certifications (e.g., CFE, CCI, Chainalysis Certified).
