Directly reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, your main tasks will be focused around Corporate law as follows:
What you'll be doing?
- Handle the Company corporate transactions including funding, M&A, investment, and other strategic operations in a substantive fashion (e.g., structuring corporate documentation, due diligence participation, negotiation of investment agreements, post-closing formalities).
- Handle corporate secretary for the French entity and its 8 worldwide subsidiaries and ensure compliance with local corporate law.
- Manage our ESOP plans distributed to our collaborators worldwide and associated formalities
- Assist in developing and executing legal strategy regarding group structuration and setting up new entities around the world.
- Provide corporate advices to the founders and and different stakeholders of the company
- Proactively collaborate with the finance team and our outside counsels.
Your responsibilities may include other areas of business laws including legal operations.
Your Profile
- French legal education mandatory
- Master 2 in Business law - double major in business school/political science/LLM is a plus
- Admitted to practice law in France (CAPA)
- 4 to 6 years of experience (post graduation) in corporate law
- An experience in other areas of business law is not mandatory but is a plus
- Bonus - You are familiar with start up clients
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- English and French full written/oral proficiency
