We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer to help us take our rapidly growing organization to the next level. To succeed in this role you will need strong communication skills, patience, and a solution-oriented attitude. As a Senior IT Engineer at Starburst you will:- Build/manage Okta IDP, workflows, integrations, user provisioning/de-provisioning, and enforce strong security policies.
- Manage JAMF Pro for Mac device inventory, configuration, and security.
- Manage/build Microsoft InTune for Windows device administration
- Guide and support junior employees to promote their professional development and cultivate a culture of continuous learning.
- Manage Google Workspace and Office 365, including email, calendar, and collaboration tools.
- Manage Ubiquiti network infrastructure, optimize performance and security.
- Implement and enforce security best practices (regular audits, vulnerability assessments).
- Manage Slack, GitHub, and enforce collaboration/development policies (code review, security).
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline tasks.
- Use scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to improve efficiency.
- Implement cloud automation for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Partner with security to ensure we adhere to industry best practices (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, CCPA, etc)
- A minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a Senior IT Engineer
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies.
- Document systems and procedures.Collaborate with other IT teams.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
