About the client:
Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior FullStack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the product-driven services
- Maintenance of existing services (e.g., bug fixes, security updates, improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript)
- Migrating legacy services to new technologies (Scala/ Java)
- Helping with decreasing a tech debt
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with React or Next.JS and Typescript
- 3 years of experience with Java for developing APIs and web applications
- Practical knowledge of AWS Kafka, AWS DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL
- A self-driven, quick learner who can grasp tasks, gather necessary information, and work independently
- Upper-intermediate English level
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA tracking parameters)
- Previous experience with A/B testing / Optimizely
