As Senior Frontend Engineer for the Messaging Channels team at Postscript, you will build and ship the user-facing experiences that power our multi-channel messaging platform, enabling top Ecommerce brands to reach their customers across SMS, email, and emerging channels.
Senior Engineers at Postscript are experienced individual contributors who take ownership of significant frontend features and systems. They combine deep technical expertise with strong product sense to deliver polished, performant user experiences. Our frontend is built with React and TypeScript, and we’re expanding into new product surfaces as Postscript grows beyond SMS.
The ideal candidate is a frontend expert with multiple years of experience building complex, interactive web applications in React/TypeScript. They care deeply about user experience, code quality, and frontend craft. They’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where they’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ship great products.
This is a fully remote position.
Primary duties- Build and maintain frontend experiences for Postscript’s multi-channel messaging platform using React and TypeScript
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute work
- Drive frontend architecture decisions and establish patterns that scale across the team
- Write well-tested, accessible, and performant code that meets high quality standards
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
- Contribute to frontend tooling, component libraries, and shared infrastructure
- Participate in technical planning and estimation, helping the team scope and sequence work effectively
- Recruit and evaluate engineering candidates, contributing to Postscript’s growth
- 4+ years of professional experience building web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of modern frontend patterns: state management, component architecture, hooks, and rendering optimization.
- Experience building complex, interactive UIs — not just CRUD forms, but rich workflows, editors, or data-heavy dashboards.
- A strong eye for detail and passion for delivering polished user experiences.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with evolving requirements.
- Experience with frontend testing strategies (unit, integration, e2e).
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
- Early stage/high growth SaaS experience.
- Lead or contributed to shared frontend infrastructure (component libraries, design systems, build tooling).
- Demonstrated passion for delivering great products (martech SaaS or ecommerce experience preferred).
- Salary range of USD $172,000-$203,000 base plus significant equity regardless of location
