Job Summary
Circadence is hiring an Senior Frontend Engineer to help deliver RangeGPT—an intelligent cyber range design and analysis platform that combines a WYSIWYG interface with AI-powered automation.
This role is 30% product management and delivery oversight, 70% hands-on engineering. You’ll own execution tracking in Azure DevOps, coordinate sprints and tasks, and ensure product initiatives move smoothly from backlog to delivery. At the same time, you’ll contribute directly as a frontend developer (with occasional backend work), building features in React + TypeScript that bring RangeGPT to life.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management & Execution (30%)
Manage product workflows in Azure DevOps: epics, sprints, tasks, and bug tracking
Break down product initiatives into actionable engineering deliverables
Assign and track tasks across the engineering team, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
Coordinate with product managers and engineers to prioritize work and resolve blockers
Provide visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies through reporting and sprint reviews
Frontend & Engineering Contributions (70%)
Build and maintain core frontend features in React + TypeScript
Implement UI components and state management patterns for the RangeGPT canvas editor
Develop intuitive user interactions bridging natural language input with infrastructure diagrams
Occasionally contribute to backend services in Python (Django/FastAPI) for APIs and orchestration logic
Integrate frontend features with APIs, LLM-powered agents, and real-time orchestration pipelines
Support testing, debugging, and frontend performance optimization
Required Qualifications
7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong frontend expertise in React + TypeScript
Experience using Azure DevOps (or similar tools like Jira) for product planning, sprint execution, and backlog management
Background in backend service development with Python (Django or FastAPI)
Solid knowledge of REST API design, service-oriented architecture, and relational data modeling (PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows
Strong organizational skills with the ability to drive projects to completion while contributing hands-on
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with canvas-based editors, graph visualization tools (XYFlow/ReactFlow), or low-code platforms
Familiarity with LangGraph, semantic retrieval frameworks (e.g., Weaviate, PGVector), and RAG pipelines
Background in cybersecurity, simulation tooling, or infrastructure-as-code
Exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol) or cyber range orchestration frameworks
