Responsibilities

  • Lead global consolidated revenue forecasting and reporting
  • Partner with commercial leaders to drive and support commercial strategy
  • Manage the SIP (Sales Incentive Plan) process for sales representatives
  • Supervise, develop, and coach a team of two finance professionals
  • Perform and analyze complex financial modeling, economic research, and trending—covering rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, and cost vs. budget
  • Conduct variance analysis, forecasting, and financial planning; prepare profit and loss/income statement reviews
  • Prepare and deliver insightful reports and recommendations to management
  • Consolidate financial plans and provide actionable business insights
  • Develop and maintain operational specifications for financial information systems, focusing on information flow, reporting, and analysis
  • Provide business development analysis and monitor business performance by unit, division, or group
  • Manage performance, develop talent, and foster engagement and inclusion within your team
  • Communicate key business and operational developments across the organization

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of managerial experience
    OR
  • Advanced degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience, including 5+ years managerial experience

Nice to Have

  • CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional finance certification
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP system experience
  • Strong change management capabilities
  • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and influence cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing global or geographically dispersed teams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and innovation

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$144,000.00 - $216,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
