Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Engineer-Software Test sought by DISH Network, L.L.C. in Englewood, Colorado.
Develop test cases for product & feature use cases for client application on Android/Apple ReactNative-based platforms. Audio/Video streaming testing (Manual & Automation) on Android/Apple ReactNative-based platform by applying streaming technology knowledge. Create automation scripts using Automation framework based on Appium for Android/Apple ReactNative-based apps. Understanding and validating various Android/Apple ReactNative-based platform specific channel certification requirements and writing automation test scripts for the same. Write scripts for debugging using Charles or similar tools. Setting up CI/CD pipelines on GitLab maintaining build script for Android/Apple ReactNative-based release package creation tool. Logging Defects with all relevant details (debug logs, network logs, initial root cause analysis, etc) and tracking the defect to closure. Working in close co-ordination with other system teams including Player/Dyna, Backend, OPs and other Client application teams. Communicating status of the testing with the project manager. Exploring new techniques and tools in testing and sharing this with others on the testing team.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or Test Automation Engineer or similar roles. Also requires 3 years of work experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

• Java, Python, Java Script, and Shell Scripting.
• TestNG, Espresso, Appium and API testing, Charles, Postman, and JMeter.
• Automation testing of Android/Apple applications.
• Setting up/configuring GitLab build setups.
• Audio/Video streaming technologies and testing audio/video streaming applications.
• Development of test scenarios and automation scripts for different test phases of client-server applications on Android/Apple devices.
• Automation Framework Development and Maintenance.

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $130,811.00/Year
