Role Overview

As the Senior Director, Performance Marketing, you lead the strategy and execution of data-driven marketing campaigns aimed at driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. You oversee a team of marketing professionals, managing the performance marketing channels, including paid search, social media, display advertising, and affiliate marketing. Your role involves optimizing marketing efforts through continuous testing, analysis, and innovation, ensuring that all campaigns are aligned with business objectives and delivering measurable results. You will also spearhead the launch and scaling of new marketing channels, identifying and activating emerging opportunities to expand reach and deepen engagement with home service professionals. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you leverage insights and analytics to maximize ROI and drive the company’s growth.

What you do each day:

  • Define vision and strategic direction for performance marketing to drive growth and scale customer acquisition
  • Oversee execution of paid media - including paid search, social media, display, and affiliate marketing multi-channel digital campaigns
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and continuous career development to a high-performing performance marketing organization
  • Collaborate with executives across creative, brand, analytics, and business team  to maximize integrated campaign performance
  • Establish KPIs, operational metrics, and dashboards to comprehensively evaluate and report marketing efficiency to leadership
  • Oversee budget allocation across acquisition levers, ensuring extreme precision and optimization of corporate resources in line with efficiency targets and growth goals
  • Drive innovation across the function by leveraging AI to inject intelligence into workflows and automate processes and continuously implementing emerging marketing platforms, ad models, and tech configurations
  • Manage risks associated with lead quality, channel economics, and media investments to safeguard corporate return on investment
  • Serve as representative for performance marketing - speaking to strategy and detailed results - in cross-functional business review meetings, strategic planning assemblies and executive leadership forums
  • Cultivate external relationships with advertising network matrices, agency partners, and third-party media vendors

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital advertising, or a related functional growth field
  • 10+ years of formal leadership experience with a proven track record of inspiring and managing multi-tiered teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, related quantitative discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced expertise in managing large-scale performance marketing budgets across multiple scaled programs to hit precise CAC, ROAS, and LTV parameters
  • Mastery of major advertising distribution networks, mobile attribution models, cross-channel web analytics, and automation suites (i.e. Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, GTM, Funnel.io)
  • Deep experience establishing A/B testing and experimentation frameworks across creative properties, messaging hooks, and landing pages
  • Demonstrated track record of leveraging AI-powered tools and technologies to drive measurable marketing results, increase operational efficiency, and unlock new performance gains at scale
  • Proven experience designing, testing, and launching new marketing programs and channels from the ground up to drive user acquisition and grow addressable customer pipelines

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $152,000-$190,000 + bonus + equity. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
