Job Title: Sr. Director of Digital Marketing

Location: Boston/Remote

Reports To: Vice President Demand Generation

 

Position Overview:
As the Sr. Director of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the digital marketing strategy to support Quickbase’s revenue and growth objectives. You will lead a team and work closely with cross-functional teams, including demand generation, sales, product marketing, and customer success to create data-driven digital campaigns that drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and brand loyalty.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and drives measurable results, including demand generation, customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Channel Management: Lead and manage key digital marketing channels, including SEM, SEO, display, social media, and paid media. Ensure campaigns are optimized across all channels to maximize ROI.
  • Vendor Management: Manage a team of agencies who support our efforts in SEO, SEM, and CRO, ensuring all agencies are aligned to company goals and outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and use analytics tools to measure and report on digital campaign effectiveness, optimizing efforts for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the sales, product, and customer success teams to align digital strategies with the overall company objectives and ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all touchpoints.
  • Budget Management: Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to achieve optimal results and maximize the return on investment.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure Quickbase remains at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
  • Customer Experience: Focus on driving exceptional user experiences through personalized digital campaigns and content that resonate with our target audience.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Be dogged in the pursuit of using AI across all places in the business. How do we weave it into the customer experience and how do we weave it into the employee experience to create better experiences and increase productivity of both.

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, including 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment.
  • 7 years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns across SEM, SEO, email, social media, and display advertising.
  • 7 years of experience digital marketing best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and engagement through digital channels.
  • Expertise in data analysis and using tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
  • Strong understanding of the sales funnel and how digital marketing integrates with sales efforts to accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Experience managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation to maximize results.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to think big-picture while being hands-on with execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
