Encora is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work with one of our largest healthcare clients. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong software engineering skills to support and evolve our AI platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and application development—especially in environments where AI and machine learning are core to the business. This is a 100% remote role primarily supporting EST work hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for AI and software services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot their solution built on top of a custom AI platform.
- Develop and maintain internal tools and APIs to support platform operations.
- Respond to inquiries in a documented fashion including ServiceNow
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure platform reliability, observability, and security through automation and best practices.
Key Skills & Technologies:
- SSE+ (Senior Software Engineering experience) with a strong foundation in system design and debugging.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS and/or Azure – infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Programming Languages: Node.js and Python – for tooling, automation, and API development.
- API Development & Integration: RESTful services, API lifecycle management.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to data pipeline tools like Airflow or Prefect.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
