Job Description
Looking for an enthusiastic Senior DevOps Engineer that will be responsible for developing and running a wide variety of consumable services on on-premises or cloud infrastructures that are highly automated, secure and compliant by design.
The ideal candidate would have experience in automation and software engineering, as well as a very good understanding of the underlying components such as server operating systems, databases, network components, etc.
Responsibilities:
- 6+ years of solid, hands-on experience in similar roles as DevOps Engineer;
- Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code through tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, AWS CloudFormation or ARM templates/Azure Bicep;
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration and monitoring;
- Solid skills in coding/scripting (Python, bash);
- Important - Experience in using HP OpenView management tool or willingness to learn HP OpenView and to support its replacement using modern technologies.
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions (e.g. Splunk, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or cloud native alternatives like CloudWatch, AzureMonitor or Stackdriver);
- Hands-on experience on container orchestration using Kubernetes and its cloud implementation for AWS (EKS) or Azure (AKS).
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD tools for version control, application deployment and test automation such as GitHub & Github Actions or GitLab & GitLab CI;
- Experience with at least two of the following CI/CD tools: Jenkins, AzureDevops, AWS CodePipeline, CircleCI, TravisCI, TeamCity, Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Security knowledge/experience;
- Good understanding and experience with general infrastructure areas – compute, storage, network;
- Excellent problem solving, multitasking, troubleshooting skills and attention to details;
- Working experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Ansible;
- Attention to writing documentation and keeping the knowledge base up to date;
- Very strong interpersonal, customer service, result oriented and team building skills are essential;
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation in English.
Qualifications

Strongly preferred: Valid AWS Solution Architecture Associate or AZ-400 certifications;

Experience creating and managing AWS or Azure resources via CLI or from a programming language.
