The fortune 500 company and a bigger car safety systems manufacturer is planning to develop a Global AI Orchestrator — an enterprise AI-driven Quality Assurance platform operating across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments. The solution integrates Azure services (Azure Entra ID, Azure ML Studio, Azure IoT Hub) with existing customer systems and edge devices to deliver secure, scalable command-and-control capabilities.
The platform manages large fleets of Windows and Linux edge devices — enabling provisioning, software deployment, updates, decommissioning, and inventory exposure via APIs. It supports OCI-compliant container orchestration on the edge, enforces secure communications, and is designed to scale across multiple customer edge use-cases. There are possibilities of business trips (Europe).
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines across cloud, on-prem, and edge layers
- Design deployment frameworks for large fleets of edge devices
- Build and operate container orchestration platforms for OCI workloads
- Automate provisioning, software rollout, patching, and decommissioning processes
- Manage Azure infrastructure (IoT Hub, ML Studio, Entra ID integration)
- Implement secure connectivity (zero-trust, certificate-based auth, outbound edge comms)
- Ensure observability across distributed systems (logs, metrics, traces)
- Support SSO enablement and identity federation
- Optimize release strategies, rollback mechanisms, and update resilience
- Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize backend and AI services
Establish platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence standards - Requirements:
- 5+ years in DevOps / Platform Engineering roles
- Strong experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem
- Hands-on expertise with Docker and OCI containerization
- Experience with Kubernetes or lightweight edge orchestrators (K3s, MicroK8s, etc.)
- Proven experience supporting hybrid (cloud + on-prem) infrastructures
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible)
- Strong CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Deep understanding of networking and platform security (TLS, PKI, firewalls)
- Scripting/programming skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Experience supporting Linux-based production systems
Nice to have:
- Experience managing IoT or edge device fleets
- Familiarity with Azure IoT Hub and device provisioning services
- Exposure to MLOps environments and Azure ML pipelines
- Knowledge of SSO integrations (SAML, OIDC, Entra ID)
- Experience with air-gapped or restricted network deployments
- Background in Automotive, Manufacturing, or Industrial environments
- Experience implementing observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)
- Understanding of secure software supply chain practices (SBOM, image signing)
We offer*:
- Flexible working format - remote, office-based or flexible
- A competitive salary and good compensation package
- Personalized career growth
