Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Commercial Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full-cycle recruiting across key commercial functions, including Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, and Business Development. This individual will bring deep expertise in commercial talent markets, a strong track record of delivering top-tier hires, and the ability to influence stakeholders through data, insight, and partnership.

This role requires a balance of strategy and execution – combining advanced sourcing, consultative business partnership, and a best-in-class candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Leadership

  • Define and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned to business priorities and commercial growth objectives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders on talent market trends, workforce planning, and hiring strategy

Advanced Sourcing & Talent Attraction

  • Develop and deploy innovative, multi-channel sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber, diverse talent
  • Proactively engage passive candidates and build long-term pipelines for critical roles

Candidate Assessment & Experience

  • Lead structured screening and interview processes to assess capabilities, competencies, and cultural alignment
  • Deliver a high-touch, transparent candidate experience that reflects Fortive’s values

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and HR to deeply understand role requirements, team dynamics, and success profiles
  • Establish clear expectations, drive alignment, and lead regular intake and calibration discussions

Talent Pipelining & Workforce Planning

  • Build and maintain strategic talent pipelines aligned to future hiring needs and market conditions
  • Anticipate talent gaps and proactively develop solutions

Employer Brand & Market Positioning

  • Champion Fortive’s employer value proposition through innovative branding and outreach strategies
  • Partner on initiatives that elevate awareness and engagement across target talent segments

Data & Insights-Driven Recruiting

  • Leverage recruiting data and market intelligence to optimize sourcing strategies and improve outcomes
  • Track key performance metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders

Executive-Level Advisory

  • Advise senior leaders on talent supply/demand, compensation trends, and competitive benchmarking
  • Influence hiring decisions through data, storytelling, and market expertise

Onboarding & Retention Partnership

  • Partner with HR to ensure smooth candidate transitions and support initiatives that improve retention and engagement

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Talent Acquisition, HR, or a related field within a global organization
  • Significant experience (7+ years) recruiting for senior-level commercial roles (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Development)
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex, high-impact hiring initiatives
  • Expertise in modern sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-enabled tools, and talent market mapping
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience using data to inform recruiting strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse geographies and cultures
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and embraces ambiguity

  • Self-Leadership: Highly self-motivated with strong judgment and the ability to operate autonomously
  • Market Expertise: Deep network within commercial talent markets and demonstrated success engaging passive candidates
