  • Oversee AWS environments (VPC, EC2, S3) to ensure scalability, efficiency, and strong security posture across data systems.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash) to automate workflows, control costs, and strengthen disaster recovery.

  • Partner with software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and IT to enable innovation, streamline access, and ensure platform alignment with business goals.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience administering AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch) and Databricks platforms, including workspace, cluster, and user management.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, data governance principles, and cost optimization.
  • Ability to design and automate infrastructure using languages like Python, Bash, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Collaborative approach with excellent problem-solving and communication skills to support technical teams.
