Simple Technology Solutions is looking for an Senior Business Analyst/Tester to add to our team.

Quick Position Overview:

The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Tester to support a high-impact federal program. This role requires a blend of business analysis and test automation expertise in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather and define requirements, write and execute automated test scripts, and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. 

The Senior Business Analyst/Tester at STS will:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements while defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing, ensuring test automation frameworks are optimized for efficiency and scalability. Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline and proactively identify, track, and report defects to drive timely resolution.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to enhance test automation strategies while supporting process improvements and best practices in testing and software quality.

Education and Experience:

Required

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and Test Automation Engineer in government environment.
  • Hands-on experience writing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and JMeter
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and CI/CD integration.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Must be able to work the hours of 8am-5pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location
