Coursera and Udemy are building one of the world’s most comprehensive skills development platforms. As part of the integration, we are standing up a unified Enterprise Growth team to serve SMB and small-team demand through product-led and sales-assisted motions spanning Coursera Web Enabled Sales (WES), Udemy Team Plan, an inside sales pilot, and outsourced SMB coverage.

Position overview

The Senior Business Analyst provides the analytical backbone for this new business. This role owns core reporting, KPI development, funnel analysis, forecasting support, and business diagnostics across WES, Team Plan, and related growth motions. The analyst establishes a common fact base across currently fragmented businesses, enabling leadership to size opportunities, monitor performance, identify conversion gaps, and make faster, higher-quality decisions on targets and resource allocation.

The ideal candidate is a rigorous, self-directed analyst who can build durable reporting and insight from ambiguous, fragmented data environments, and who communicates findings in clear, decision-ready terms.

Key responsibilities1. Own reporting and KPI development for the Enterprise Growth business
  • Build and maintain the core KPI reporting suite across WES, Team Plan, inside sales, and outsourced SMB motions, including new business, expansion, renewal, and cost-to-serve views.
  • Drive unified reporting definitions across Coursera and Udemy in partnership with Finance, RevOps, and Data teams.
  • Deliver reliable recurring reporting for weekly/monthly business reviews and executive updates.
  • Improve funnel instrumentation, attribution, and data quality in partnership with Data Science and Analytics.
2. Deliver funnel analysis and business diagnostics
  • Analyze conversion across the full funnel — traffic, lead capture, product-qualified demand, sales-assisted conversion, renewal, and expansion — to identify the biggest growth levers and gaps.
  • Support experimentation with sound test design, measurement plans, and readouts across pricing, packaging, campaigns, routing, and conversion motions.
  • Evaluate inside sales pilot and outsourced partner performance, including productivity, response time, and conversion efficiency.
  • Produce segment, cohort, and source-level analyses that inform GTM and segmentation decisions.
3. Support forecasting, planning, and prioritization
  • Provide analytical support for FY27 target setting, forecasting methodology, and scenario modeling in partnership with Finance and RevOps.
  • Size opportunities and quantify tradeoffs to support prioritization of growth investments.
  • Serve as an embedded analytical partner to Enterprise Growth leadership, translating questions into analysis and analysis into recommendations.
Success measures
  • A trusted, unified KPI reporting suite adopted as the source of truth for Enterprise Growth performance.
  • Unified Coursera + Udemy reporting definitions implemented across in-scope motions.
  • Funnel diagnostics and experiment readouts that directly inform prioritization and conversion improvements.
  • Timely, credible analytical inputs to annual and quarterly target setting and planning.
  • Reduced reliance on ad hoc Finance/RevOps requests through durable, self-serve reporting.
Candidate profile
  • 5–8 years of experience in business analytics, revenue/GTM analytics, growth analytics, strategy, or related analytical roles, ideally in B2B SaaS, PLG, or subscription businesses.
  • Strong technical toolkit: advanced SQL required; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and spreadsheet modeling; Python or R a plus.
  • Deep fluency with funnel metrics, cohort analysis, conversion diagnostics, forecasting, and experimentation.
  • Proven ability to build reporting and analytical foundations from fragmented or evolving data environments.
  • Strong communication skills: able to distill complex analysis into clear, decision-ready insights for senior audiences.
  • Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity; able to prioritize independently in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in a post-merger or systems-integration context is a plus.
