About the Job

The Life360 Creative Team is at a defining moment.

We’re evolving from a single product brand into a connected ecosystem spanning software, hardware, and real-world experiences. That evolution demands more than consistency — it demands taste, clarity, and a strong creative point of view.

We’re hiring a Senior Brand Designer to help shape, strengthen, and express the Life360 brand system as it scales across product surfaces, marketing, campaigns, retail, packaging, and physical environments. This role is for designers who understands that great brand work starts with strong systems — and comes alive through thoughtful execution and cultural relevance.

As a Senior Brand Designer, you’ll report directly to the Design Director and operate as a highly independent individual contributor. You’ll own meaningful creative work from early concept through final execution, and you’ll be trusted to bring opinions, not just options. Your work will help define how Life360 shows up everywhere — in-app, in feeds, in campaigns, in the world.

This is a hands-on, design-forward role for someone who cares deeply about craft, thinks systematically, and understands how brand, product, and marketing intersect. While brand systems are core to this role, you’ll also contribute to distinct campaigns, launches, and high-visibility moments where the brand is tested, stretched, and expressed in new ways.

You will do work that will define the next chapter of Life360 — work that scales cleanly, feels intentional, and stands confidently alongside the best consumer brands in the world. If you want to make the best creative of your career, push yourself alongside other driven designers, and help shape a globally recognized brand from the inside, let’s talk.

For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $91,000 to $130,000 USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range for this position is 105,000 to 123,000 CAD. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary - therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do
  • Set and uphold a high creative bar. Bring strong taste, clarity, and design thinking that elevates the quality and consistency of our brand.
  • Build and evolve the brand system. Strengthen Life360’s visual foundations, design kits, and patterns so the brand scales across product, marketing, hardware, retail, and new channels.
  • Own work end to end. Lead projects from early concept through final execution, navigating ambiguity with confidence and accountability.
  • Design across mediums. Create thoughtful, high-quality brand work spanning digital, social, paid media, product launches, packaging, retail, and real-world experiences.
  • Balance systems and expression. Ensure consistency without stagnation — using design systems as a springboard, not a constraint.
  • Think beyond the brief. Challenge assumptions, push past obvious solutions, and look for sharper, more intentional ways to communicate.
  • Collaborate deeply. Partner with designers, copywriters, marketers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to turn strategy into compelling creative.
  • Present with conviction. Clearly articulate your ideas, explain design decisions, and advocate for strong creative while remaining open to feedback.
  • Raise the team. Contribute meaningfully to critiques and working sessions, helping improve not just the work — but how the work gets made.
What We’re Looking For
  • 6+ years of experience in brand design, ideally across agency and/or B2C in-house teams
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong design thinking, not just visuals — systems, concepts, and polished execution working together
  • Proven experience building or contributing to brand systems that scale across multiple channels
  • Fluency in how brand, product, and marketing intersect — and why that matters
  • Strong sense of taste across typography, layout, color, composition, and visual storytelling
  • Comfort owning work independently while collaborating closely with creative leadership and partners
  • Ability to present work clearly, defend decisions thoughtfully, and incorporate feedback without losing your point of view
  • Highly collaborative, curious, and motivated to push the work — and yourself — forward
Skills:
  • Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects is a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial, team-oriented mindset
  • Problem solver with minimal hand-holding
  • Eagle eye for alignment, consistency, and craft
Our Benefits
  • Competitive pay and benefits
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans (100% paid for employees)
  • 401(k) plan with company matching program
  • Mental Wellness Program & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental well-being
  • Flexible PTO, 13 company-wide days off throughout the year
  • Winter and Summer Weeklong Synchronized Company Shutdowns
  • Learning & Development programs
  • Equipment, tools, and reimbursement support for a productive remote environment
  • Free Life360 Platinum Membership for your preferred circle
  • Free Tile Products
