As our API Senior BackEnd Engineer you’ll help build and optimize the APIs and backend services that power our products and enhance our clients’ experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technically challenging problems, cares deeply about quality, and likes working closely with others to deliver meaningful results.
You’ll be part of a talented engineering team, designing and implementing backend systems that are robust, scalable, and secure. You’ll take ownership of APIs throughout their full lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
Our backend stack is centered around Go for its performance and scalability, and Google Cloud, allowing us to leverage modern cloud infrastructure and services

What do I need to bring with me?

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. Here’s what the team will be looking for in you:
👉 Proven experience building backend systems using Go or similar languages (e.g. Java, C#, Ruby, Node.js)
👉 Strong understanding of API design principles, including authentication, versioning, error handling, rate limiting, and security best practices
👉 Experience developing and maintaining production APIs with a focus on reliability and performance
👉 A quality-first mindset, with hands-on experience in testing practices such as TDD and writing well-tested code
👉 Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and deployment automation
👉 Experience working in Agile environments, using tools like Git and Jira
👉 A collaborative approach, with the ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a team
👉 Good judgment, a strong sense of ownership, and accountability for your work
👉 Interest or experience working with AI-enabled products, agent-based systems, or integrating APIs with LLM-driven tools (direct experience with MCP is a plus, not a requirement)
Equally important is attitude. We want people who think big (to make an impact), ask why (to find a better way), and show respect (to everyone, at every level, all the time). Those are our values, and they’re a big part of what we’re looking for in you.

Why Join Us
