We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable backend systems. You will work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other developers to build APIs, improve system performance, and deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Build secure and reliable server-side applications.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
• Improve API performance, scalability, and system reliability.
• Integrate third-party services and external APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Review code and maintain engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve monitoring and logging.
• Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, or similar backend technologies.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar databases.
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience deploying applications to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Experience writing automated tests and debugging production systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a development team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other event-driven systems.
• Experience building high-traffic or highly available applications.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM integrations is a plus.
