Responsibilities and Impact:

  • End-to-End Development: Lead the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC), encompassing architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of technology solutions.
  • Agile Practices: Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, ensuring adherence to best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as a development team lead, driving the creation of high-quality, scalable, and high-performance code while mentoring team members to achieve excellence.
  • Technical Design: Produce detailed technical design documents, conduct walkthroughs, and collaborate on solutions through diagrams, prototypes, and stubbed code.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align development efforts with business objectives.
  • Production Support: Proactively respond to and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in application development with proven technical leadership capabilities
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring frameworks (such as Spring Boot), and microservices architecture design
  • Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, HTML5, and CSS
  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies, test-driven development, and full SDLC management
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, or similar services)
  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, inspire collaboration, and drive results.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Financial Industry and Capital Markets domain
  • Advanced knowledge of XML technologies including XSLT, XPath, XQuery, and XML Schema (XSD)
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and CI/CD pipeline tools
  • Python programming experience and familiarity with data modeling concepts

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $91,805 to $162,163. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
