In this exciting role as a Senior Analyst, you will have the responsibility to partner closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Commercial organizations and deliver insights that help define strategy, facilitate speed and accuracy of decision-making, and ultimately make a positive impact on the business. This role will define, lead, analyze, interpret and socialize data with leadership. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to innovate, think creatively, and foster strong business partnerships across a large organization.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage.
  • Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification.
  • Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems.
  • Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as a liaison to the business.
  • Builds strong business partnerships across a complex matrix organization
  • Provides analytics training and direction to stakeholders
  • Manages projects efficiently and delivers on all requirements on-time

Must have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant data modeling, data analysis, sales reporting, or analytics work experience, or
  • Advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant data modeling, data analysis, sales reporting, or analytics work experience

Nice to have:

  • Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or similar area of focus.
  • Familiarity with any of the following applications:
  • Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
  • Business Objects or Cognos.
  • Alteryx, or similar data prep and advanced analytics platform.
  • SQL, R, or related database languages.
  • Salesforce.com or related CRM tools.
  • Ability to successfully work on a project or work team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS suite of tools, including Excel.
  • Ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and manage competing priorities.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$83,200.00 - $124,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
