We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Category Finance who will be a financial adviser and business partner with the Bars Category working on the financial analysis for month end close activities and key projects, in addition to driving forecast accuracy across our business.
This person will become part of strategic initiatives and decisions to improve the financial results for the Category and must have the ability to work cross-functionally and influence multiple stakeholders.
Will provide financial controls related to trade spend, revenue, waste, profitability and return on investments through detailed analyses and insights. The successful individual must be able to analyze and interpret data to draw out insights and drive better business decisions.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Deliver financial commitments and run planning and forecasting activities
- Provide insights on key drivers for month end close activities
- Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a Category team. You will also execute data collection and data integrity checks
- Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
- Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement
- Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers
What you will bring

- TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial analysis and data collection/structuring
- BUSINESS ACUMEN and a basic understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market. Relevant experience in a regional (or sizeable local) business
- LEADERSHIP SKILLS including collaboration and communication skills within a larger Finance team. Team player with can do mentality to deliver results
- GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
- INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required, MBA preferred
- 3 or more years of experience in Finance is required
- Experience with P&L is required
- FP&A experience is required
- Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience a strong plus
- Experience with pricing, business model decisions, problem analysis and resolution
- Exceptional system skills, especially Excel skills
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion, Nielsen is an advantage
- Ability to interpret complex data
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and multi-task against tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication and negotiation skills
The base salary range for this position is $83,800 to $115,225; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
