About the Role:
We're scaling fast in the US and are looking for a Senior Accountant. You’ll thrive here if you’re curious, resourceful, and energized by learning and collaboration. You’ll be supported by a high-trust team that’s committed to doing meaningful work while building a company we’re proud of.


What You’ll Do:

  • Own the monthly North American management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and KPI reporting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast updates
  • Support FD on US tax compliance - Sales tax, payroll tax, corporation tax - with coordination from external accountants
  • Manage day-to-day finance ops: invoicing, ledgers, supplier payments, customer billing, payroll & reconciliations
  • Support the Finance Director in preparing monthly reporting packs
  • Help strengthen and embed financial controls across the business
  • Improve and streamline finance processes with a proactive, solutions-first mindset
  • Get hands-on with strategic, commercial & cross-functional projects


What You’ll Need to Bring:

  • CPA/CMA or equivalent qualified. Preferred, but not mandatory
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in industry or practice
  • Strong grasp of financial and management accounting principles
  • Experience dealing with & managing tax filings (with support from FD and advisors)
  • Confident using accounting tools (Xero preferred)
  • Clear, confident communicator who works well with senior leaders
  • Commercially savvy with a business-first mindset
  • Hands-on, process-focused, and action-oriented
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Ambitious and ready to grow into a finance leadership role
  • Bonus: if you have experience working in a startup, SaaS or rapidly scaling team


Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of day-to-day North American finance, payroll, management reporting, and KPI tracking
  • Support budgeting, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting
  • Work closely with the Finance Director and US leadership
  • Challenge the status quo and suggest best-practice improvements
  • Bring a hands-on, process-driven, and detail-focused approach
  • Apply strong finance and commercial acumen to drive rigour
  • Ideal for someone ambitious to grow into a Regional Financial Controller role in 1–2 years
