Summary

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and performing comprehensive accounting services for a group of our clients with support and direction from the team’s Accounting Manager/Controller, and in collaboration with Staff Accountants. This is a full-cycle accounting role where you will be the point person on several engagements, working directly with clients across a variety of sizes and industries.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as the primary liaison for a group of clients.
  • Supports and mentors staff accountants.
  • Reviews weekly and monthly deliverables prepared by staff and senior accountants for accuracy.
  • Prepares standard and non-standard journal entries.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and reconciles general ledger accounts.
  • Prepares and reviews budgets and track variances with actual.
  • Prepares and distributes weekly and monthly client financial reports within specified deadlines.
  • Coordinates monthly financial review meetings and presents financials to a group of clients.
Qualifications

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.

Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience. Outsourced accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent people, customer service, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented and focused on completion and follow up.
  • Strong collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to multi-task and take on multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent work habits and self-motivation.
  • A passion for building and being part of a team.

SalaryStarting wage is $75,000 to $85,000 The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners’ range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&A’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commissions, annual bonuses, and program specific rewards. In addition, G&A Partners provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending, ancillary benefits, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
