## Role Summary
American Cyber is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive – Account Management (Independent Contractor – 1099) to manage and expand relationships with existing clients in the Miami market. This role is focused on retention, account growth, and revenue expansion through strategic upsell and cross-sell initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Client Success to deepen customer engagement, increase account value, and ensure a high-quality client experience—while maintaining autonomy in how services are delivered.

* Regional focus: Miami, FL
* Travel: Required as needed for customer meetings and regional engagement
## What You’ll Do
* Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
* Develop a deep understanding of client cybersecurity needs, risk profiles, and business objectives to align appropriate solutions
* Identify, position, and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across American Cyber’s solutions and services portfolio
* Partner with Sales and Marketing to support account-based marketing (ABM) strategies, campaigns, and engagement plans for key accounts
* Collaborate with Client Success to drive customer satisfaction, retention, adoption, and long-term value realization
* Prepare and deliver regular account reviews, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to executive and technical stakeholders
* Negotiate renewals, expansions, and commercial terms in coordination with internal stakeholders
* Maintain clear account plans, opportunity notes, and forecasting inputs using agreed tracking/CRM tools
## Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
* 5+ years of experience in account management or sales; cybersecurity industry experience strongly preferred
* Proven track record of managing and growing client relationships, including measurable upsell and cross-sell success
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and services and the ability to connect capabilities to business outcomes
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including experience engaging executive stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a consultative, customer-first approach
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams
* Willingness to travel as required
## Engagement Terms (1099 Contractor)
* This role is structured as an independent contractor (1099) engagement and does not constitute an employment relationship
* You retain discretion over the manner and means of performing services, consistent with agreed objectives, timelines, and performance expectations
* Compensation structure (e.g., base + commission, account expansion incentives, or retainer model) will be defined in a separate agreement
* Contractor is responsible for applicable taxes, insurance, and business expenses unless otherwise specified
