Responsibilities
- Own equipment performance, reliability, and lifecycle management for assigned toolsets.
- Develop and complete maintenance strategies to improve uptime, yield, and cost performance.
- Lead trouble-shooting efforts for complex equipment issues and recurring failures.
- Support tool installations, upgrades, qualifications, and production ramps.
- Analyze equipment data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with vendors to resolve technical issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Mentor technicians and support technical skill development within the team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Engineering or related field degree
- Hands-on experience owning and sustaining semiconductor equipment.
- Experience trouble-shooting and resolving complex semiconductor equipment issues
- Experienced in working multi-functionally with facilities, process teams, and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience owning semiconductor manufacturing tools in areas such as Lithography, Dry Etch, Wet Etch, Diffusion, Implant, Facilities, or other fab areas.
- Experience with sustaining equipment reliability, achieving cost reduction, and/or performance optimization.
- Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, change management, or continuous improvement methodologies.
