SDR ManagerWhat is Rhythm?

Rhythm helps associations deliver an awesome online experience to their constituents. This means members, event attendees, learners, sponsors, and more all use Rhythm. As constituent expectations evolve to meet a digital-first world, more and more associations are looking for a technology partner that can help them meet that demand. (That’s us.)

The SDR Manager will build the outbound engine that fuels our pipeline (Maybe that’s you?)

About our SDR Manager

We’re looking for a pipeline-obsessed, data-driven leader who can both coach people and build programs. You’ll own the strategy, tooling, and execution behind our outbound motion—turning accounts into qualified meetings that convert to ARR. You’ll manage a small team of SDRs, collaborate with Marketing and AEs on campaign design, and be directly accountable for top-of-funnel targets.

In this role, you’ll get to:
  • Design and launch outbound campaigns end-to-end—ICP segmentation, messaging frameworks, multichannel cadences, and A/B testing that surface the right buyers at the right time.
  • Own the SDR number—set quarterly meeting, pipeline, and SQL goals; inspect daily activity dashboards; and report progress to Revenue leadership.
  • Run weekly “pipeline labs,” not just call coaching—dig into sequence performance, reply rates, and conversion trends to decide what to double-down on (or get rid of).
  • Partner with Marketing to align outbound sequences with paid, content, and event plays—ensuring consistent touches across the buyer journey.
  • Standardize processes in HubSpot so every rep follows repeatable motions that scale.
  • Recruit, ramp, and retain top-tier SDR talent—hiring against clear scorecards and onboarding new reps to productivity.
  • Create an experimentation culture—each SDR runs at least one controlled test per month (new opener, channel, asset) and shares results in a monthly “wins & lessons” review.
  • Forecast and communicate risk early—if meeting creation or pipeline coverage is light, you propose corrective action, not excuses.

We’re looking for people who:
  • Have 1–2 years leading a SDR/SDR team and 2–3 years carrying an outbound quota in B2B SaaS.
  • Have hit or beaten team meeting / pipeline targets and can show the dashboards.
  • Treat messaging, sequences, and data like product features—iterate until they convert.
  • Are fluent in HubSpot CRM/Sales Hub (or Salesforce) and a sales-engagement platform (e.g., HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft); can build reports without help.
  • Balance coaching (role-plays, call breakdowns) with strategic thinking (campaign calendars, tool optimizations).
  • Communicate crisply in writing and on video; comfortable presenting metrics to executives.
  • Are based in the United States and thrive in a fully remote, high-change startup.

During your first 90 days, you will:
  • Master the Rhythm story through Academy courses, learning why associations choose us and what makes our platform stand out.
  • Complete a 2-week Revenue Bootcamp that dives into our outbound tech stack, sequencing methodology, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Shadow AE discovery calls, demos, and Customer Success check-ins to internalize buyer pain points and the voice of the customer.
  • Finish product training so you can confidently frame Rhythm’s value in every cold email and call.
  • Kick off recurring 1:1s with your VP of Revenue, align on 30-60-90-day targets, and review the live dashboards that track activities, meetings, and pipeline.
  • Audit current sequences, data hygiene, and ICP lists, then present your top “quick-win” outbound experiments by Day 45.
  • Launch your first multichannel campaign (email + phone + LinkedIn) for a high-potential segment and track meetings booked and early-stage pipeline.
  • Establish a weekly coaching cadence—call reviews, role-plays, and “sequence science” sessions—to embed a culture of experimentation and improvement.
  • Build relationships across Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Product so collaboration on content, events, and hand-offs is second nature.

Tools in your tech stack:
  • Apple (Mac)
  • Google Workspace
  • Slack
  • HubSpot CRM + Sales Hub
  • Zoom Info
  • Cause IQ
  • LinkedIn Navigator
  • Zoom
  • Loom

(Don’t see your favorite? Pitch us on why we should add it.)

Perks of being on the Rhythm team:
  • Remote work: We believe our team members can make an impact from anywhere in the United States with a stable internet connection, so we are fully and permanently remote.
  • Healthcare: Keeping our team healthy is one of our top priorities, so employees have access to medical, dental, and vision for themselves and their dependents.
  • Unlimited vacation: There’s more to life than work, so we want our team to take time off to recharge, have fun, and take care of personal needs.
  • Financial well-being: In addition to transparent and equitable pay, we offer employees the opportunity to participate in a 401K.
  • Ongoing learning: The team at Rhythm is a curious bunch. That’s why we have ongoing learning opportunities like office hours, online courses, and industry conferences.
  • World-class team: If you look around at our team, you’ll see a diverse group of helpers, innovators, and creators who love making a difference. Every day, we show up for each other and our customers.
What your compensation will look like:
  • Base salary range: $80,000 - $85,000
  • On target earnings: $115,000
