Position Overview:
We are looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect who will be responsible for defining, governing, and validating end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, CLM, and integrated business processes. Acting as the client’s architectural authority, this role partners closely with system integrators, product owners, technical leads, data teams, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and future-proof design aligns with the client’s roadmap and Salesforce best practices.
Duties:
- Design and validate a scalable, efficient, and sustainable Salesforce architecture for multi‑cloud global implementations
- Evaluate proposed solutions for maintainability, extensibility, and long‑term viability
- Align all architectural decisions with the Salesforce product roadmap, enterprise architecture principles, and internal standards
- Define configuration standards, design patterns, and guardrails for functional and technical teams
- Review and approve functional designs across workstreams (Sales, Service, CLM, Integration, Data, RFP, etc.)
- Translate business strategies and requirements into holistic Salesforce solutions that balance user experience, performance, and compliance
- Ensure alignment between technical teams, functional SMEs, and business owners to deliver solutions on schedule
- Partner with the Integration Lead to design robust integration architecture with SAP, Agiloft, Workday, and other enterprise platforms
- Validate data flows, API usage, middleware strategy, and integration patterns
- Support data strategy activities, including data migration, mapping, and cleansing (in collaboration with the Data Lead and SI)
- Provide architectural oversight throughout discovery, design, build, testing, and cutover phases
- Review solution designs to ensure adherence to best practices, security frameworks, and change control processes
- Support DevOps alignment, including environment strategy, release sequencing, and deployment governance
- Participate in workshops, design reviews, RFP evaluations, and architecture decision records
- Communicate architectural risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to program leadership and executive stakeholders
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect
- Strong expertise in Salesforce solution architecture and multi‑cloud implementations across Sales, Service, and CLM
- Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and sustainable Salesforce architectures aligned with best practices and enterprise standards
- Hands‑on experience with integration strategies involving SAP, Agiloft, Workday, including API usage, middleware design, and integration patterns
- Experience supporting data migration, mapping, and cleansing efforts in partnership with data teams
- Demonstrated ability to provide architectural oversight and lead cross‑functional teams (SIs, technical leads, business stakeholders)
- Strong knowledge of architectural governance, DevOps alignment (environment strategy, release sequencing, deployment governance), and security frameworks
- Salesforce Cloud certifications required — preferably multiple; strong preference for Sales and Service Cloud certifications. Marketing or Development certifications are beneficial but not required

- Ability to operate effectively within East Coast working hours
- Experience presenting architectural risks and trade‑offs to executive stakeholders and participating in RFP evaluations
