JOB OVERVIEW

Owns the full product lifecycle of Net Health’s Salesforce Experience Cloud community — a strategic customer and partner platform treated as a product, not a static site. This is a builder’s role: the Salesforce Experience Cloud Product Owner designs, develops, and deploys custom community functionality (LWC, Apex, Flow, Agentforce AI) while owning the backlog, roadmap, and technical direction. All community technical decisions belong to this role, within the standards set by the Enterprise Technology/Salesforce platform team. Individual contributor; not a people-management role.

Role Balance: ~70% hands-on build and technical design (Apex, LWC, Flow, integrations, Agentforce); ~30% product ownership (roadmap, backlog, requirements, metrics).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Backlog Ownership and Prioritization
    • Owns the community roadmap end-to-end: defines priorities, writes user stories with acceptance criteria, continuously reprioritizes against incoming requests, feedback, and technical debt, and coordinates cross-team dependencies.
  • Sprint Execution
    • Leads agile ceremonies (scrums, sprint planning, reviews, retros); accepts or rejects sprint deliverables; owns release cadence and feature rollout strategy; presents results to non-technical stakeholders and reports community delivery to CX leadership.
  • Build and Technical Delivery
    • Designs, builds, tests, and deploys custom Experience Cloud functionality (LWC, Apex, Flow, platform events, async Apex); builds REST/SOAP API integrations with proper error handling; owns the external-user security model (sharing sets, permission sets, guest access); works source-driven via SFDX, Git, and CI/CD; tunes for SOQL efficiency and governor limits; reviews contributor code against org-wide standards.
  • Product Strategy
    • Serves as the in-house authority on Experience Cloud; owns the community’s data model, component architecture, and technical design; defines and tracks success metrics (engagement, deflection, satisfaction); monitors Salesforce release cycles and plans remediation ahead of enforcement dates; collaborates with stakeholders to shape the platform roadmap.
  • Agentforce and AI Engineering
    • Builds and tunes the Agentforce AI agent (topics, prompt templates, Apex/Flow-backed actions); monitors containment and case deflection metrics; drives fixes in code, configuration, or content; evolves agent capabilities across Salesforce releases; distinguishes genuine resolution from suppressed escalations.
  • Community Operations and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Maintains community structural health (topics, navigation, moderation, case workflows); partners with Product Education and Support on onboarding and participation programs; aligns the roadmap with Client Success, Marketing, and Product; handles escalations with sound judgment; reports performance to CX and commercial leadership in terms of operating leverage.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flow); 1–2+ years specifically on Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud), including Experience Builder, themes, topics and navigation, LWC inside communities, and the external-user sharing and guest access model.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership: has scoped, built, and shipped a feature without depending on a separate product owner or dev team; product/Agile experience (roadmap, backlog, sprints) for a digital product or platform.
  • Source-driven development: SFDX, Git, sandbox-to-production, Apex unit testing; REST/SOAP API integrations with authentication and error handling.
  • Hands-on Agentforce or comparable AI agent experience (configuration, grounding, tuning, monitoring); track record improving case deflection metrics; builds own Salesforce reports and dashboards; familiar with Experience Workspaces and Insights; familiarity with product analytics or UX tooling (Pendo, Google Analytics, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong cross-functional communicator: can produce a technical design doc, a release note, and community guidelines; proficient in Agile tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence, Aha, or Wiki) and Git-based source control; proficient in Office 365 and Salesforce platform tools (Experience Builder, SFDX, VS Code).
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required; candidates without the certification may be considered if Apex/LWC experience is strong and certification is completed within 90 days of hire.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical or business field.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience owning a knowledge base or self-service channel (taxonomy, findability, content quality); defining or tuning AI agent grounding sources (Salesforce Knowledge, Data Cloud).
  • Experience in a governed Salesforce environment (change control, release management, partnership with Admins/Architects); background in customer success, technical support, or SaaS operations.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Experience Cloud Consultant, or Agile/product credential (CSPO, CSM, or equivalent); familiarity with product analytics/UX tooling (Pendo, Google Analytics).

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as requested to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD
