Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps Architect with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise Salesforce DevOps, release management, CI/CD, and deployment automation. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex Salesforce environments and coordinating releases across enterprise applications, integrations, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Salesforce DevOps and release management activities across large enterprise environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Define and enforce Git/GitLab workflows, branching strategies, version control, and release processes.
  • Manage Salesforce metadata deployments across multiple environments, including troubleshooting deployment and pipeline issues.
  • Work hands-on with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Flosum, Copado, Gearset, or similar platforms.
  • Partner with development, architecture, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to coordinate enterprise releases.
  • Support Salesforce implementations involving Health Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Work with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Security, configuration, and metadata.
  • Coordinate Salesforce releases and dependencies across MuleSoft, Snowflake, AWS, and other enterprise integrations.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving deployments, metadata, CI/CD pipelines, environments, integrations, and release automation.
  • Establish DevOps best practices around source control, branching, code promotion, environment management, quality gates, and release governance.
  • Support Salesforce GovCloud and federal environments, including environments subject to IL4/IL5 requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for Salesforce development and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience as a Salesforce DevOps Architect / Salesforce DevOps Engineer / Salesforce Release Manager.
  • Extensive enterprise-level Salesforce DevOps and Release Management experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Git/GitLab, CI/CD, branching strategies, source control, and deployment automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Flosum preferred.
  • Experience with Copado, Gearset, or similar Salesforce DevOps tools.
  • Strong Salesforce development and platform experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Security and metadata management.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations involving MuleSoft, Snowflake, and AWS.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Salesforce deployments, pipelines, metadata, environments, and integrations.

Additional Information

  • Experience with Salesforce GovCloud.
  • Experience working in federal/government environments.
  • Knowledge of IL4/IL5 compliance and security requirements.
  • Previous experience supporting government or highly regulated Salesforce environments.
  • Government security clearance experience is a plus.
