True Zero Technologies, a veteran-owned small business, was founded on the principle that the purposeful enablement of people and technology in an organization directly ties to the quality of its outcomes. True Zero recognizes that those outcomes begin and end with our people, and that is what we have built a community of like-minded, driven, and passionate individuals and innovators who are aligned in a common goal of delivering top-tier services to our customers. Our culture and commitment have been recognized through numerous accolades, including being named one of the Best Places to Work in 2023 in two categories (“Prosperous and Thriving” ($5MM–$50MM in gross revenue) and “Mid-Atlantic Region” (DC, DE, MD, NC, VA, WV)), and again in 2025 as a Best Places to Work honoree. In addition, True Zero earned coveted spots on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America in 2022, 2023, and 2025, a testament to our sustained growth driven by our people-first approach and unwavering dedication to excellence.
True Zero Technologies is seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Developer to own and evolve our Salesforce platform. This role blends hands-on administration with light-to-moderate development, focused on building scalable workflows, embedding best practices across the org, and expanding platform capabilities in automation and quoting (CPQ). The ideal candidate is comfortable owning day-to-day administration while also architecting and building more advanced declarative and programmatic solutions as our Salesforce footprint grows.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Salesforce org, including user management, security model, data quality, and reporting/dashboards.
- Design, build, and optimize Flows and other declarative automation to streamline internal processes and reduce manual work.
- Implement and expand Salesforce best practices around data architecture, change management, and platform governance.
- Configure and enhance CPQ/quoting workflows, including product/pricing rules, approval processes, and quote templates.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate AppExchange tools and third-party integrations to extend platform capability.
- Provide light custom development (Apex, LWC, or similar) where declarative tools aren't sufficient.
- Document configurations, processes, and platform changes to support long-term maintainability.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including user/security management, Flow Builder, and reporting/dashboards.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining declarative automation (Flows, validation rules, approval processes) in a production org.
- Direct experience configuring a CPQ or quoting solution (Salesforce CPQ, or comparable quoting/pricing tool) — this is not a nice-to-have.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) at minimum; Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing competing priorities across multiple internal stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Apex and/or Lightning Web Components for light custom development.
- Experience in a GovCon, professional services, or IT/cybersecurity reseller environment.
- Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with finance, contracts, or PSA/PPM tools.
