Department: Sales

Location: Chicago, Denver, or Dallas

Pay: $20/hr (maximum 32 hours per week)

Duration: June 2nd – July 31st (8 Weeks)

Overview:

Develop the skills, experiences, and connections to accelerate your career in digital advertising.
MiQ is seeking ambitious, hands-on individuals to join our Summer Internship Program. This opportunity is perfect for someone with a hustler mentality—curious, resourceful, and ready to dive into the details. You’ll work closely with our sales team to support high-impact initiatives, learn about the adtech ecosystem, and help drive advertiser success.
Our interns don’t just observe—they roll up their sleeves and gain real-world experience that touches every part of the business. By the end of the program, you'll walk away with a comprehensive understanding of digital advertising, industry tools, and strategic selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sales enablement activities including prospecting, lead research, meeting scheduling, and pipeline support
  • Help coordinate meeting logistics, internal and external communications, and internal systems processing
  • Shadow account teams to learn about client strategy and campaign execution
  • Use critical thinking to support advertiser initiatives with research, market trends, and strategic recommendations
  • Learn and utilize tools and platforms used in digital media planning, buying, and measurement
  • Take initiative on cross-functional projects and contribute to brainstorming sessions
  • Become an adtech sponge—absorb, ask questions, and gain industry expertise
  • Other duties as assigned to support the department and organization's goals.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Resourceful, eager to learn, and not afraid to get into the weeds
  • Interest in digital advertising, media strategy, or sales operations
  • Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, or CRM platforms (a plus)
  • Bonus: experience with data tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or digital research platforms

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the US (student visas and those requiring sponsorship will not be considered)
  • Available for the full internship period
  • Able to commute to the local office where your internship is located

Application Instructions:

To apply for the Summer Internship position, please submit the following documents:

  • Resume/CV highlighting relevant coursework, experience, and skills.
  • Cover letter expressing your interest in the internship and why you would be a great fit for the role.

Please submit your application by April 11, 2025. Only selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.

Pay Transparency

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This opportunity has a set hourly rate of $20/hr. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
