Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and manage a team of 6 territory Sales Engineers, conducting regular performance reviews, pipeline inspections, and joint commercial calls to achieve regional booking and revenue targets.
  • Channel Distribution Strategy: Formulate and execute regional distribution strategies, establishing annual business plans, sales targets, and inventory commitments with key channel partners and distributor principals.

  • Forecasting & Market Reporting: Maintain rigorous opportunity tracking and regional forecasting within CRM, presenting monthly and quarterly performance updates to senior executive sales leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent extensive industry experience will be evaluated in lieu of a degree.
  • 7+ years of progressive sales experience within industrial flow control, specifically centered on isolation valves, control valves, or valve automation/actuation systems.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience leading outside sales teams, technical sales engineers, or commercial specialists.
  • Demonstrated track record managing and growing industrial distribution networks, channel partners, and manufacturer representatives.
  • Proven experience managing a multi-million-dollar regional business portfolio (prior oversight of $30M+ preferred).
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% throughout the assigned geographic region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience with major flow control OEMs
  • Deep established relationships across distributor principals and industrial end users in the Gulf Coast, Central, or Western US industrial corridors.
