As a Sales Manager, you'll own and monitor the customer sales plan for Components & Accessories including MRO, LRU & Accessories, and strategy for subject customers. You’ll manage the optimum sales and support process to ensure CRS goals are achieved within your territory.
What you’ll do:
- In conjunction with the Marketing and Sales leadership determine sales territory strategy and qualify potential prospects to increase the revenue for CRS
- Coordinate in close coordination and cooperation with program management “face to the customer” for program customers as well as non-program customers including but not limited to individual customer profitability to ensure optimum sales volumes and profits are achieved
- Conduct sales calls & visits, provides product support, performs other sales and marketing functions as needed
- Coordinate sales effort with the sector team(s) Components & Accessories and relevant Business Unit personnel
- Establish, maintain and develop business relationships with customers and potential customers to optimize customer base profit
- Engage with customer(s) and take lead in the resolution of accounts receivable issues
- Coordinate and manage the relationship between the organization and the approved intermediary of the company if required
- Respond promptly to inquiries and provides proposals or options for service and/or sales required to meet customers’ needs
- Expedite and engage in the resolution of customer problems/complaints.
- Maintain the customer management databases
- Attend industry trade shows, sales meetings, marketing workshops and other special events as required
- Provide management with timely oral and written reports on customer needs, concerns, interests, market situation, competitive activities and potential for new products and/or services
- Complete administrative duties within established time guidelines i.e. IOI’s, responses to Customer inquiries
- Contribute to the development of strategic business plans and marketing initiatives and to the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, quotes and other projections
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering technology; or equivalent
- 10 or more years of sales experience in an aerospace or aviation environment
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Desired Skills
- Self-motivated, self-starter, strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and customer service skills
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office product suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems, Salesforce experience preferred
- Experience in aircraft engine systems, repair and maintenance workflows, and alignment with diverse customer specifications and operational needs
