About SavedBy
SavedBy makes package protection easy. We help e-commerce merchants weather the storm of lost, stolen, and damaged packages, turning what's usually a cost center into a profit center. When a shipment goes missing or shows up broken, we handle the claim, take the headache off the merchant's plate, and make sure they keep their revenue and their customer.
Hundreds of Shopify brands trust us to protect their shipments and their reputations, and we've built a 5-star reputation on the back of fast resolutions and genuinely great support. We're a small, fast-moving Denver team, which means the work you do here is visible, it matters, and it moves the business.
We're growing our sales org, and we're looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to help us reach the next wave of merchants.
The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact between SavedBy and the merchants who need us. This is a true outbound role: you'll spend your day on cold calls and cold emails, opening conversations with e-commerce brands, uncovering their shipping pain points, and setting the table for our Account Executives to close.
You won't be doing this alone. You'll join an established team of sales professionals who will help you ramp, sharpen your pitch, and win. We support creativity here, so if you've got a clever angle, a sharper subject line, or a new channel worth testing, we want to hear it.
This is a hybrid role based in Denver, with 3 days per week in the office. Strong performers in this seat have a clear path to promotion into an Account Executive role.
What You'll Do
- Own outbound prospecting through high-volume cold calls and cold emails to e-commerce and Shopify merchants
- Research target accounts and tailor your outreach to each brand's shipping and fulfillment challenges
- Qualify prospects, book meetings, and hand off cleanly to Account Executives
- Experiment with messaging, channels, and creative outreach to open more conversations
- Keep your pipeline and activity accurate and up to date in our CRM
- Share what you hear in the market so we can keep sharpening our positioning
- Consistently hit and exceed weekly activity and pipeline targets
What You Bring
- A genuine drive to build a career in tech sales and grow into an AE role
- Comfort with high-volume outbound activity, including cold calling
- Strong written and verbal communication - clear, concise, and human
- Resilience and a goal-oriented mindset; you don't let a "no" slow you down
- Creativity and curiosity - you like finding new angles and testing what works
- A collaborative approach; you work well alongside a team and celebrate shared wins
- Openness to coaching and a commitment to getting better every week
Nice to have (not required):
- Prior SDR, BDR, or other sales / customer-facing experience
- Familiarity with a CRM and outbound tools (e.g. Hubspot, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- Exposure to e-commerce, SaaS, or the Shopify ecosystem
What's In It For You
- A clear, performance-based path from SDR to Account Executive
- A seat on an established sales team that will invest in your development
- The visibility and ownership that only come with a small, high-growth company
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
- Health benefits
- 401(k)
- Annual international 1-week offsite
Compensation
$55,000 plus commission. On-target earnings: $112,500. This is a non-exempt role.
