About The Team

Eventeny was founded on the belief that managing large-scale events with hundreds of exhibitors, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers should not be stressful and burdensome. Our mission is to remove event organizers from the 5th most stressful job in the world. That's why we built Eventeny and continue to work every day on the biggest problems in the event industry. We don't just dream it; we build it.  Eventeny serves more than 40,000 large festivals and conventions worldwide, like Fanatics Fest, GalaxyCon, Florida Renaissance Festival, and the Oregon State Fair.

Our customers come from all walks of life, and so do we. We hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes our company stronger. We don’t think we should have to advertise that we’re LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and disability friendly, or that we put our employees' mental and physical health before everything else, but we do, because it’s not the norm for most companies (yet!).

We’re a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming team of individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Our team works closely together to brainstorm and improve our processes and the customer experience every single day. We prioritize our work based on what’s best for our customers, not what’s going to make us the most money.

If you share our values and our enthusiasm for events, you will find a home at Eventeny.

Eventeny is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristics. Eventeny considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local law. Eventeny is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, you may contact us at [email protected].

Overview

As Eventeny's SDR Manager, you will lead the outreach to the qualified sales opportunities funnel. You will own the processes, performance systems, and pipeline that help Eventeny respond quickly, understand each prospect's needs, and create high-quality pipeline for the Software Sales and Enterprise teams.

This is a hands-on, player-coach role. You'll develop a team of SDRs to establish clear standards for qualification and handoffs, and step into priority conversations or coverage gaps when needed. You will use data-driven decision-making, call reviews, and regular coaching to improve speed-to-lead, meeting conversion, show rates, opportunity acceptance, and pipeline creation.

This role partners closely with Growth leadership, Software Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and other cross-functional teams to align demand generation with sales capacity and turn frontline prospect feedback into better campaigns, processes, and customer experiences.

This is a full-time, salaried leadership position with team performance accountability.

Here’s what you’ll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Development Reps to consistently meet goals for response time, qualification, meetings booked, show rate, accepted opportunities, and pipeline creation.
  • Own the team's rotating coverage model across calls, live chat, form submissions, email replies, and other inbound channels, balancing service levels, lead volume, and team capacity.
  • Develop repeatable, scalable processes that expand pipelines through direct, signal-based outbound prospecting, contact nurture, and high-intent retargeting workflows.
  • Build onboarding and ongoing enablement for Eventeny's solutions, buyer personas, discovery questions, objection handling, qualification standards, and CRM workflows.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent qualification and handoff process so Software Sales Specialists receive timely meetings, accurate context, and actionable notes.
  • Own SDR reporting and operating rhythms, including dashboards, weekly performance reviews, capacity planning, and clear communication of risks, trends, and opportunities to Growth leadership.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline in HubSpot, including lead routing, activity capture, ownership, data quality, and follow-up standards.
  • Partner with Marketing to improve lead quality, campaign follow-up, and speed-to-lead; partner with Software Sales to improve meeting quality, acceptance criteria, and closed-loop feedback.
  • Travel may be expected from time to time for conferences and business development efforts
  • Develop scalable playbooks for inbound conversion, outbound reply handling, AI-assisted outreach responses, lead recycling, and supplemental prospecting during non-peak periods.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Eventeny's platform and model customer empathy, ethical selling, and clear communication in every interaction.

Here’s what we are looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in sales development, opportunity creation, or another high-volume customer-facing sales role in a SaaS environment.
  • 2+ years of experience directly coaching, supervising, and managing SDRs or other quota-carrying sales team members
  • A track record of improving team performance through clear goals, structured coaching, quality assurance, and consistent accountability.
  • Strong command of inbound sales fundamentals, including speed-to-lead, discovery, qualification, objection handling, meeting conversion, and sales handoffs.
  • Strong comfort building and interpreting funnels, dashboards, and team metrics in a CRM; hands-on HubSpot experience is strongly preferred.
  • A growth experiment mindset - you can form a hypothesis, test a process, learn from the results, and turn what works into a repeatable playbook.
  • A self-directed, highly organized, and resilient leadership style and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing start-up environment.
  • Defers to data to make decisions and communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • A commitment to customer empathy, ethical business practices, inclusive leadership, and high-quality prospect experiences.
  • Added plus: Experience with AI-assisted sales workflows, events or event technology, or selling to SMB, mid-market, government, or enterprise buyers.

Compensation

This is a full-time position. Variable quarterly commission payouts are eligible based on exceeding your goals. The final offer will be determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. This is a remote position in the US only.
