Bicycle Village is Colorado's finest bike shop and an integral part of the Colorado cycling community. Our customers are a diverse cross-section of multicultural people, from novice riders who enjoy cycling for recreation, to world-class professional athletes and everything in between. Sales Associates are responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets.

 
Job Responsibilites include (but are not limited to):
 
  • Serves customers by establishing rapport, building customer confidence, providing accurate information, and promoting product through point of successful sale
  • Answer all questions, providing detailed information, and establishing trust with the customer to close of sale
  • Describing and promoting product in line with customer's express needs as well as promoting purchase of related products
  • Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise
  • Promote extended warranty/maintenance agreements, parts and accessories purchase
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Previous retail sales and customer service experience
  • Passion for cycling / bicycles
  • Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English 
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends

Vail Resorts' retail and rental operations are conducted through Specialty Sports Venture (SSV). SSV operates over 180 year-round and seasonal stores under 40 + retail brand names specializing in ski, bike, golf and fly fishing products and gear.  We operate in world-class locations such as Aspen, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Telluride, Park City, Vail, Lake Tahoe, Minneapolis, Denver’s Front Range and the San Francisco Bay Area. 

 
Compensation:  Starting at $9.00 per hour, depending upon experience; plus commission
