About the role

The Sales & Education Executive (SEE) is the retail business owner for Orveon Global brands within an assigned territory across key retail partners including Ulta, Sephora, and department store partners as applicable by market.

This role is responsible for driving retail productivity, elevating brand presence, and strengthening retail partnerships through strategic store planning, education, event execution, visual excellence, and effective management of Retail Sales Specialists (RSS). The SEE owns the performance of their territory and uses education, events, and in-store presence as tools to achieve sales objectives and company goals.

The SEE operates with autonomy, business acumen, and a strong sense of accountability for both sales results and brand representation in every store visited.

Primary Responsibilities 

 Retail Sales Ownership

  • Own retail performance across all assigned retail partners within the territory (Ulta, Sephora, and department stores as applicable)
  • Identify top, mid, and underperforming doors and adjust call cycle accordingly
  • Drive improvements in underperforming locations through targeted action plans
  • Build strong, productive relationships with store leadership and beauty advisors
  • Act as a Best Brand Partner within all retail environments

Strategic Store Planning & Execution

  • Evaluate and adjust call cycle regularly to ensure time in store aligns with opportunity and productivity
  • Partner with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to prioritize doors based on performance data
  • Maintain a disciplined schedule and outlook calendar reflecting strategic store visits

Education as a Sales Tool

  • Deliver impactful brand and product education that directly drives sales conversion
  • Cascade knowledge and best practices to beauty advisors and retail teams
  • Support product launches and in-store initiatives with effective education

Event Ownership

  • Plan and execute corporate and store-driven events within territory
  • Ensure events are staffed appropriately with Retail Sales Specialists (RSS) that deliver a strong return on investment (ROI).
  • Measure event effectiveness and retail impact through recaps and reporting

Retail Sales Specialist (RSS) Management

  • Recruit, coach, schedule, and manage RSS support within territory
  • Evaluate RSS productivity weekly and ensure clear ROI
  • Direct RSS schedules based on store opportunity and business needs
  • Provide ongoing feedback and development to RSS teams

Visual Merchandising & Brand Standards

  • Ensure visual merchandising, tester hygiene, and brand standards are consistently upheld
  • Partner with store teams to maintain strong visual presence for all Orveon brands
  • Identify and address visual or operational gaps in real time

Reporting & Operational Excellence

  • Complete all reporting requirements accurately and on time (recaps, expenses, mileage, calendars)
  • Provide insights that allow RSM and leadership to read and react to business needs
  • Adhere to all retail partner policies and operational standards

Professional Brand Representation

  • Represent Orveon brands with professionalism, polish, and current makeup artistry
  • Maintain a professional digital footprint aligned with company guidelines

  • Deliver territory sales plan in alignment with company objectives
  • Manage T&E and RSS budgets responsibly to ensure profitability and ROI
  • Utilize resources strategically to support retail performance

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years experience as a cosmetic Account Executive, Field Executive, or similar role in prestige beauty
  • Demonstrated success working within both Ulta and Sephora environments is required
  • Experience managing freelance or field support teams preferred
  • Strong understanding of retail productivity and store prioritization
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong planning, organization, and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and travel up to 75%
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

Role Distinction

Sales & Education Executive (SEE): Owns retail performance, education strategy, event execution, and RSS management within a territory.

Retail Sales Specialist (RSS): Provides tactical in-store sales and event support under the direction of the SEE.

Additional Information

Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation. Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs.

Schedule Expectations

The SEE schedule is traditionally Tuesday through Saturday, with one dedicated office day per week on Tuesday.

The office day may be paused during key retailer promotional periods, major brand moments, or holiday peak selling times to prioritize in-store presence and retail support.

Pay Transparency - Pay Transparency - The following represents a good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining compensation. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $90,000-$105,000. Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
