Are you ready to elevate your career by leading groundbreaking projects in the ropeway systems industry? We are seeking a dynamic Ropeway Systems Project Manager who thrives on orchestrating complex projects from inception to completion. This is your chance to be at the forefront of innovation, managing up to eight ropeway projects simultaneously and ensuring their successful installation and commissioning. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Ropeway Systems Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end project management for multiple ropeway projects, guiding them from contract signing through installation and commissioning. You will coordinate internal engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and field teams to ensure alignment and timely execution. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, you'll develop and manage project schedules and resource plans, producing weekly updates for onsite activities. Your role involves monitoring project progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and conducting occasional site visits to oversee construction progress. You'll prepare comprehensive project reports, status updates, and documentation for stakeholders, lead project meetings, milestone reviews, and post-project evaluations, and create resource usage models and predictions for current and future projects.

This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $28.00-$38.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and/ or 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in mechanical systems, heavy equipment, or ski industry infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of ropeway systems and related construction practices.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites at least 20% of the time, and no more than 5 days consecutively.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Proficient in the English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience using project management software such as MS Project or Wrike.
  • Previous experience with SAP or other inventory management software.
  • Previous knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
