Titan Technologies, LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced, self-directed, Riverbed Senior Systems Engineer to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract. As a member of our team, you will help to assist USSOCOM, Service Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC), and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow, communications, and connectivity globally.
Job description
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
The Riverbed Senior Systems Engineer serves as the senior technical authority for Riverbed performance monitoring, digital experience management, and network visibility platforms across the enterprise environment. This role is responsible for engineering, administration, optimization, cybersecurity compliance, and lifecycle management of Riverbed technologies excluding SteelHead WAN optimization appliances.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure Riverbed monitoring solutions across enterprise and multi-enclave environments.
- Engineer scalable monitoring architectures and integrate Riverbed technologies with cybersecurity, ITSM, SIEM, and enterprise management platforms.
- Administer and optimize platform performance, including configuration, upgrades, patching, backups, recovery, and system health monitoring.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident response support for complex network, application, and infrastructure issues.
- Analyze performance data and trends to improve availability, reduce service disruptions, and enhance user experience.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, STIGs, vulnerability remediation efforts, and ATO-related activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, executive dashboards, and leadership briefings.
- Manage access controls, configuration management, and change control processes to maintain system integrity and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and government customers to deliver mission-critical solutions and operational support.
- Leverage Windows, Linux, and scripting technologies to automate processes, improve efficiency, and support enterprise operations.
You MUST have:
- DoDD 8570 01-M IAT II, specifically CompTIA Security +
- DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 451 – System Administrator - Intermediate level or above.
- Demonstrated ability in performance optimization and system engineering processes.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, sFlow
- Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
- Network Performance Monitoring (NPM)
- Windows & Linux server administration
- VMware or other virtualization platforms
- Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- REST API integrations
- Splunk, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise tools
- SQL databases
- Multi-enclave architecture support (NIPR/SIPR)
It’s GREAT if you also have:
- SCSA: SolarWinds Certified Systems Administrator (Not Required but highly desired)
- RCSA: Riverbed Certified Solutions Associate. (Not Required but highly desired)
Education:
- Min 12 years with HS degree, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, 3 years with PhD
