The Opportunity
As a Risk Modeling Services Life - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and managing financial risks for clients through statistical modeling and data analysis. Within our Assurance practice, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to help businesses make informed decisions and mitigate potential risks. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same. In this role, you will be at the forefront of helping organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance their internal controls to mitigate risks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and managing financial risks through statistical modeling and data analysis
- Developing and implementing risk models to provide insights and recommendations for clients
- Leading teams in the strategic planning and execution of actuarial projects
- Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Collaborating with clients to understand their risk management needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Utilizing actuarial science and statistical analysis software to support decision-making processes
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial reports to stakeholders
- Encouraging innovation and embracing change to improve risk modeling services
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in challenging conversations with clients and team members
- Upholding professional and technical standards in all deliverables and interactions
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics
- At least 4 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Fellow of Society of Actuaries or equivalent, certification requirement may be waived if the selected individual has more experience in the relevant field

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $252,450. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $297,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
