Resource Coordinator

What we believe

Technology is no longer just an enabler of business strategy. It is the business strategy. And with AI reshaping how companies operate, compete and grow — while rapidly accelerating the pace of change — the stakes have never been higher.

Our role

We’re focused on helping private equity investors and portfolio company leaders drive value creation through technology. In a world where investors deploy trillions annually into software and tech-enabled businesses, we're the team that makes sure the underlying technology actually delivers.

Our approach

The expert judgment of our experienced practitioners is complemented by proven frameworks, tech-enabled solutions, and objective data to help organizations navigate critical technology decisions across diligence, transformation, growth, cybersecurity, AI, and operational execution.

What we value

Everything we do is grounded in five core values: Service. Curiosity. Credibility. Commitment. Creativity.

If you're energized by solving complex technology challenges and helping others succeed in critical moments, you'll fit right in.

Overview

The Resource Operations team is responsible for the management and effective scheduling of our resources for all client engagements.

As a Resource Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the management of our resource pool. You’ll act as a primary point of contact, keeping consistent communication with resources to provide an accurate, current view of availability and skills, along with driving timely updates, reporting and administration activities. Working across Salesforce, Suite Projects Pro and our internal tracking tools, you’ll help maintain a single, trusted view of capacity, project status and timelines so stakeholders can rely on accurate resourcing data.

This is a fully remote role, so you’ll be expected to work autonomously by prioritizing your workload, driving follow-ups, and keeping systems up to date while collaborating with the team via Slack, email and Zoom.

Expected results

  • Support the Resource Manager by promptly updating relevant systems with confirmed changes to resource availability and project status, timelines and commitments, and communicating the staffing implications with relevant context to internal stakeholders
  • Proactively and systematically engage with practitioners to confirm availability, project status and commitments, and follow up on missing or outdated information
  • Maintain accurate practitioner data around skills, expertise and project assignments in all internal systems.
  • Coordinate practitioner onboarding activities, including drafting contractor agreements, submitting systems onboarding requests and scheduling orientation activities
  • Support the Resource Manager by identifying potential practitioners whose expertise and experience match project requirements and presenting suitable options for the Resource Manager to make staffing decisions
  • Report on daily global resourcing availability

Required qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to deliver concise summaries and relay specific details efficiently to senior stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills; able to manage multiple concurrent requests and shifting timelines in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to pull together information from multiple sources, reconcile discrepancies, and have a holistic view of team, project and operational needs
  • Strong attention to detail and a “data hygiene” mindset; able to maintain accuracy across multiple systems and spot inconsistencies before they become issues
  • Confident problem-solver who can surface conflicts early and propose practical options and trade-offs
  • Takes initiative and has a willing, collaborative attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft - particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Comfortable learning and working across systems (e.g., Salesforce, Suite Projects Pro, internal skills/availability tools); quick to come up to speed on new tools and processes
  • Ability to build productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups by navigating different working styles, communication preferences, and priorities
  • Experience in dealing with varying levels of seniority
  • Experience in resource coordination, scheduling, staffing operations, project coordination, or professional services operations is highly desirable
  • Experience in Private Equity, M&A, Professional Services and/or Technology is a bonus but not required; the ability to learn basic terminology quickly is required
  • Able to identify opportunities to improve templates, taxonomies, and workflows that increase accuracy and reduce turnaround time (process improvement is encouraged but not required)
