Job Summary:
The Regional Vice President, Sales, is responsible for leading and managing the sales team within a specified region, driving business growth by developing and executing strategies to maximize sales and expand the company’s presence in the enterprise market. The RVP will build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering exceptional value to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional sales targets and increase market share.
Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with company goals.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Set clear objectives and performance expectations, providing regular feedback and coaching.
Identify training and development needs to enhance team capabilities.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients and stakeholders.
Oversee contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and offering solutions.
Market Expansion:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Provide feedback to internal teams on market trends and customer needs.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in enterprise sales and leadership.
Strong understanding of the enterprise market and industry trends.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
