VSC Fire & Security is seeking candidates for the position of Deficiency Specialist.

What you need:

  • Three to five (3-5) years of industry related work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, including design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with local and national fire codes and regulations, such as NFPA standards.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team, allocate resources effectively, and drive results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze deficiencies and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed reports and interact with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to pass various background checks.
  • Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.
  • Desirable (but not required):
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
    • Experience in conducting inspections or assessments of fire protection systems.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for the overall management of all incoming orders from customers and maintain customer expectations to meet service agreements as the primary point of contact.
  • Supervise and lead a team of Fire Sprinkler Deficiency Specialists, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
  • Build trust with Divisions to increase efficiency on orders and scheduling.
